Araz Adam is a tutor of quantitative methods in the School of Business at Bahrain Polytechnic. She has over 15 years of experience in the education sector, teaching mathematics and statistics at various levels in educational establishments in Bahrain and the UK. Araz joined Bahrain Polytechnic in January 2009, one semester after the official opening of the institution, teaching mathematics to the first batch of students on the foundation programme. Araz has been involved in teaching various electives in the business programme and been involved extensively in coordinating and developing courses, both at foundation and degree level. Her most recent research work examines higher educational reform post-conflict.
