Bahrain Polytechnic is located at the University of Bahrain Isa Town Campus. The campus will be shared until the University re-locate all their activities to the Sakhir campus.
Current Polytechnic Facilities
The Polytechnic occupies approximately 19,500 m2 of building space that includes the following buildings:
Blocks 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 16, Part 19, 24, 26 & 36.
The buildings which have been transferred to the Polytechnic have or are being refurbished to meet the Polytechnics educational and operational requirements.
Campus Development
AEDAS Architects were appointed in December 2009 to complete the Campus Master Plan and Concept Design.
The Campus Master Plan was completed in June 2010 and the Concept Design was completed in October 2010.
The Preliminary Design and Construction Programme indicates that the first phase of new construction will be ready for occupation in September 2014.
