Selection of Students to Bahrain Polytechnic

Admission to Bahrain Polytechnic is extremely competitive and there is limited entry to the Polytechnic in 2013/14 so please apply to more than just Bahrain Polytechnic. Applicants who meet the minimum entry requirements and pass the entry tests to the required levels are considered for an offer of place. Admission to a programme is limited by the programme size in that year.

First priority is given to suitably qualified Bahraini applicants. Non-Bahrainis may be offered admission if places are available and based on criteria and quotas that may be set from time to time by Bahrain Polytechnic. Non Bahraini applicants with Bahraini mother MUST provide us with the mother original passport and applicant original birth certificate to be treated as Bahraini.

The Polytechnic has the absolute right to decline or to offer a place to any student.

Offers of place and Confirmation

Offers will be published on the Bahrain Polytechnic website on 14 August 2013. An SMS and email will be sent to all applicants with the final Decision.


Successful applicants MUST accept / confirm their offer in person from 18 - 29 August 2013, 9-2.30pm at Bahrain Polytechnic by:

  1. Print a copy of the offer letter sent to the email use when applying or collect one from the Student Information Centre, Building 8.
  2. Go to Finance Department in Building 11, Room 114  and pay the full fees for Semester 1 (i.e. BHD 120 for Bahraini students or BHD 2520 for non Bahraini students). 
                        

 Note: 120BHD is the non refundable confirmation fee. 

  1. Go to the Student Information Centre in Building 8 to complete confirmation and sign the required documents.

If you are out of Bahrain during the confirmation period you MUST reply to the Registrar by email that you want to confirm your offer. Including the Name and CPR of the person who will come and complete the above procedures / requirements as stated in the offer letter/email.


This will ensure your place is held temporarily until YOU sign the required documents, on or before 5 September 2013.

Orientation for new students

Semester 1, 2013-2014

  • Orientation for new students is 8-12 September 2013.
  • Classes start 15 September 2013.
  • Details will be provided at confirmation, are on the web site or available from the Student Information Centre.
