There is a BHD 20 Application fee (non refundable). The documents required are:
- One passport size photo.
- Copy of your valid Smart Card and valid Passport.
- Copy of your secondary school certificates (1-6).
- Copy of your graduation certificate with GPA not less than 70%
- Copy of Good conduct Report
- If graduating from a Private School please provide:
- An Equivalence Letter from the Ministry of Education
- A letter indicating your GPA%
Missing documents can cause your application to be rejected. 21 July 2013 is the deadline for submitting missing documents. |

 | If you graduated abroad complete your application and ask at the Student Information Centre for a letter to the Ministry of Education requesting a high school equivalence. |

 | Semester 1, Academic Year 2013/2014 starts 15 September 2013 and ends 2 January 2014. Semester 2, Academic Year 2013/2014 starts 23 February 2014 and ends 26 June 2013.

The current tuition fees for a full time student (60 credits) per semester are:
- Bahraini: BHD 120.
- Non Bahraini: BHD 2520.
Students have to purchase their own books.

All applicants to Bahrain Polytechnic must show they are competent in English and Mathematics to be offered a place in any of our programmes. The entry tests include:
- English Competency: Online or written test, with time allowed 60 minutes. English usage and listening competency are tested.
- English Writing: 1 expository or argumentative essay question, minimum of 120 words required, time allowed 30 minutes.
- Mathematics: 50 Multiple choice and short answer questions, time allowed 90 minutes.
You must bring a calculator, but calculators with text save and graphic display are not allowed. Applicants to ICT and Engineering degrees may be invited to sit Technical Mathematics tests (time allowed 60 minutes). Applicants to the Visual Design degree must submit a portfolio of original work to be considered. We reserve the right to interview any applicant. |

 | Current students require 480 credits to complete a Degree programme. This is normally 8 academic semesters or 4 years of full-time study. |

 | There are two full-time semesters in one academic year - Semester 1 from September to January, and Semester 2 from February to July. Summer courses are also offered from time to time (for some programmes). For further information, please contact the Student Information Centre.

 | Yes attendance is required for classes. Attendance is important as classroom activities are designed to develop effective employability skills that are required by employers. Students are expected to arrive on-time and participate in all scheduled classes. Tutors record attendance in classes for all programmes. Absences in excess of 20% (twenty percent) of the total scheduled class time will result in automatic withdrawal from the course with a fail grade (WA) for not meeting attendance requirements. |
