The Certificate in Family Caregiving Program is a community initiative aimed at supporting vulnerable groups, such as people with disabilities and older adults, by providing care and support that align with their specific needs and contribute to a healthy, psychologically supportive, and socially inclusive environment.
The Kingdom of Bahrain has ensured the protection and rights of vulnerable groups through its legislative vision, which emphasizes the national responsibility of caring for and protecting these individuals as valuable human resources. This is achieved through the development of governmental and community-based support programmes across Bahrain.
In line with this national vision and as a contribution to serving Bahraini society, this programme has been developed to educate and train participants on the essential skills required to care for individuals with special needs in their daily lives and support them in becoming as independent as possible.
