The Polytechnic uses a blended learning approach, including face-to-face classroom-based learning, online-supported delivery, project-based learning, job placement, internships, individual work, group work, and student-centred learning. An emphasis is placed on relevant practical projects in all years of the programmes.

Quality programmes are relevant and responsive to changing labour market needs in today’s high-technology society. Quality is assured at Bahrain Polytechnic by the policies and procedures that make up the Quality Management System, and through different levels of accreditation covering both the institution and its programmes.

School of Business

The School of Business collaborates with various stakeholders- our students, staff, communities, industry and government to produce work-ready broad-based business graduates with specialist knowledge, technical and employability skills at the international forefront of business practice that meet the needs of Bahrain and the wider GCC region by providing a challenging learning environment for students through quality teaching, research, industry exposure, and guidance from specialized and experienced academics and industrial experts in various disciplines such as accounting, banking and finance, management, human resource management, marketing, digital marketing and financial technology.

School of Logistics & Maritime Studies

The transport and logistics industry is one of the sectors seen as critical to Bahrain’s 2030 Economic Vision. This includes different modes, which, when joined together, are referred to as the global supply chain and are made of separate, yet interconnecting, industries. These industries include maritime, ports, aviation, road, rail, warehousing, and logistics

School of Engineering

The aim of this programme is to provide students with a comprehensive set of skills for employment as engineering technologists, including theoretical and practical skills to solve engineering problems and design engineering systems; and skills necessary for effective communication, analysis, team work, documentation, and evaluation of systems through the inclusion of courses in English language, mathematics, project management, ethics, and social responsibility.

School of Creative Media

At the School of Creative Media, we nurture talent and empower our students to become masters of their craft. Through our cutting-edge programs in Film and Animation, Visual Design, and Web Media, we ignite the spark of creativity within our students, transforming them into the next generation of groundbreaking artists, designers, and visionaries of the creative economy. School of ICT

The School aims to develop work-ready, skilled ICT graduates, who have had exposure to a variety of technological tools and techniques. By focusing on problem-solving skills and concepts, it aims to produce graduates who can be flexible in the workplace and be ready to adapt in a fast moving industry. The School of ICT programmes are internationally accredited by the British Computer Society – The Chartered Institute for IT.

School of Foundation

The Foundation Programme prepares students for degree study. The programme offers a flexible, innovative programme designed to meet students’ goals and learning needs. Students are placed in courses according to their academic requirements, which will further develop their personal growth, technical skills, numeracy, and academic literacy.

Top-up Programme

Top-up degrees are aimed at those who have successfully completed a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Diploma and want to study further and progress to the final year of our degree programs. Joining a top-up degree will allow you to build on your previous learning, gain credits and graduate with a full undergraduate degree.

Continuing Education

The Continuing Education Unit at Bahrain Polytechnic focuses on providing short courses, certified courses, and customized training programmes which are beneficial to corporations looking to upskill its staff, or learners looking to advance individually.

School of Apprenticeship

In today’s rapidly evolving world, it is crucial for everyone to have multiple pathways for furthering their education and launching their career success.
