Bahrain Polytechnic’s Business School is set to organize its annual Marketing Day event, with the participation of more than 700 students from their first, third, and fourth years, in addition to graduates, showcasing more than 140 marketing projects. The two-day exhibition will be open to the public from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM on 14 and 15 May 2025 at Sitra Mall. The Annual Marketing Day event will offer the Business School students an opportunity to showcase their diverse entrepreneurial business projects, which are a core requirement for the specializations in Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Social Media Marketing.

The event’s concept revolves around students taking the necessary steps to develop their business ideas based on what is studied at the beginning of each academic year. This includes preparing and executing a business plan, creating marketing ideas and campaigns to promote and succeed in their projects, and other steps that ultimately lead to presenting a business project expected to attract customers.

On this occasion, Professor Dr. Tunku Salha Ahmad, Dean of the Business School at Bahrain Polytechnic, commented: “We believe our learning approach at the Polytechnic prepares and enables our students to work in the business world. These academic events which encourage entrepreneurship provides our students with practical and hands-on experience to implement and manage projects. They equip the labor market with entrepreneurs who will contribute to the growth of the national economy, which is one of the strategic priorities of Bahrain Polytechnic’s 2023-2026 plan, aligned with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Vision 2030.”

For his part, Mr. Amir Zidan, Program Manager/Senior Lecturer of the Bachelor of Business – Marketing Degrees Program at Bahrain Polytechnic, stated that Marketing Day is one of the core elements of the teaching methods followed by the Polytechnic. These methods not only focus on training students according to the labor market requirements but also prepare them to be successful entrepreneurs by providing them with various skills. He expressed: “We are proud and hopeful when we see our students working diligently to apply what they have learned in the lecture halls to their own projects, which reflect their interests and demonstrate their grasp of modern and innovative teaching methods at the Polytechnic. Among these methods are problem-based learning and project-based learning, which prepare them to be entrepreneurs with full competence and give us hope for a stronger tomorrow. We look forward to your participation, honor your presence, and invite you to support our students at Sitra Mall this week.”
