Bahrain Polytechnic can confirm that its Arabic website is now live and can be viewed at www.polytechnic.bh/ar.
The Polytechnic began constructing its website in phases over 2014; aiming for an improved approach when it comes to communicating with its stakeholders.
The website offers a user-friendly interface for comfortable browsing in English and Arabic on all platforms, and contains relevant information for anyone who uses the website.
Visitors of the website can now get a better experience when interacting with Bahrain Polytechnic in the World Wide Web, according to Mohamed Bastaki, Communication Specialist.
“When you create a website, you must understand your visitors. So we’ve collected feedback from students, management, board members, and industry to ensure that the website is tailored to their needs.
“The pre-planning phase of this website project was very important. We’ve set up the website to ensure it follows international practice and has a user-friendly interface.
“Not only did we focus on the design, but the content within [the website] was selective and reworded to make sure our visitors get information as quickly as possible. The content is eventually shared on our social media channels as well, and these official
accounts could be found on our website.“The management requires that the Polytechnic plays its part in achieving the Bahrain 2030 Vision, and developing this website [as part of our communications strategy] is the first step towards achieving that vision.” concluded Mr. Bastaki.
Zainab Ebrahim, Web Content Administrator, explained the new features of the website: “We’ve added lots of new features, such as an interactive campus map, academic staff profiles, student success stories, and the possibility of electronic registration.
“The website can hold a high capacity of multimedia content which will heavily be included in our latest news and press release section. We also have an e-library to serve the students and staff, as well as a contact us page which consists of visiting hours and a general inquires form.” concluded Ms. Zainab.
