Bahrain Polytechnic has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Exceed IT Services W.L.L. (Exceeders), aimed at strengthening partnership in applied education, professional training, innovation, and collaboration with the local and regional industrial sector.
This agreement opens new horizons for Polytechnic students by connecting them with real projects executed for actual clients through the Innovation Center, enabling them to gain practical experience that enhances their skills and prepares them for the labor market.
Under the MoU, both parties will collaborate to identify the technical training needs of students, provide resources and platforms that support their qualification, and assign points of contact to assist them during project phases, ensuring a comprehensive educational experience that integrates both theoretical and practical aspects.
This partnership also contributes to facilitating employment opportunities for graduates by enabling them to connect with a broad network of industry partners and professional communities locally and internationally. Moreover, this MoU supports student and academic initiatives within the framework of shared social responsibility, and works on maintaining and deploying solutions and products developed by students after graduation whenever possible.
In this regard, Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin, CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic, said:
“Signing the MoU with Exceeders represents a strategic step toward achieving our vision at Bahrain Polytechnic to provide high-quality education based on practical application, directly contributing to preparing our students to be effective in the labor market immediately upon graduation.”
He added:
“We believe in the importance of partnerships with private sector institutions, as they are a fundamental pillar in linking educational outcomes to actual market needs. Through this cooperation, our students will be able to work on real projects, receive specialized technical training, and engage with real professional challenges. This partnership also supports our directions to enhance innovation and entrepreneurship, encouraging students to transform their ideas into practical technological solutions, while providing the appropriate environment to develop these solutions even after graduation.”
For his part, Mr. Samer El Chayati, Regional Sales Director at Exceed IT Services W.L.L., stated:
“We at Exceeders are very pleased to sign the MoU with Bahrain Polytechnic, as this partnership represents an ideal opportunity to bring the industrial sector closer to educational institutions. We believe that supporting students through real projects and practical training is the best way to build a generation of outstanding professionals capable of facing the rapidly changing market challenges. This initiative reflects our commitment to contributing to the development of national capabilities and enhancing the knowledge economy in Bahrain and the region. We look forward to ongoing cooperation that yields tangible results serving students and the community.”
