
Bahrain Polytechnic has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with HikVision, aiming to establish a strategic partnership in teaching, learning, and research collaboration. This will be achieved by equipping Bahrain Polytechnic with modern smart systems and technologies provided by the company, helping to create a smart educational environment for students.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Chief Executive of Bahrain Polytechnic, Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin, and Mr. Du Peisheng, President of HikVision KSA, Bahrain & Kuwait, in the presence of several officials from both sides.
On this occasion, the Chief Executive of Bahrain Polytechnic, Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin, emphasized the importance of the partnership with HikVision and its positive impact on the educational process. He highlighted the benefits students will gain from the smart and technological solutions offered in various fields. These technologies will allow students to access the latest tools and programs needed to enhance their skills and equip them with the resources required to keep pace with technological advancements, while also engaging in applied learning experiences that prepare them for the demands of the modern labor market.
Mr. Du Peisheng, President of Hikvision KSA, Bahrain, and Kuwait, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting Hikvision’s expanding presence in the GCC region, including local R&D initiatives and manufacturing capabilities. He reaffirmed the Hikvision’s commitment to Bahrain through increased investment and closer collaboration with key end user partners. Hikvision representative also introduced Hikvision’s Smart Campus solutions, designed to enhance safety, connectivity, and innovation in educational environments.
