2024 YBA Kanoo Student Research Competition
The Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group is a privately held business conglomerate established in Bahrain in 1890. It is one of the largest family-owned multinationals in the Middle East. The Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Award, since its establishment in 1998, has been encouraging Gulf and Arab specialists in the field of scientific research who seek to spread scientific knowledge in the society. The Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Award comes within the framework of the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Group’s interest in supporting projects of public service and effective contribution to religious, cultural, and humanitarian projects and in encouraging thinkers and scholars from the Gulf and Arab countries in the fields of Islamic studies, finance, economics and business, and various fields of science and literature. The award bears the name of the founder of the group, Haji Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo, in memory of him, as he was known for his interest in science, education and the assistance of science students, in addition to his great contribut

Postgraduate Research Poster Competition
In a view to showcase postgraduate research at Bahrain Polytechnic, the Deanship of Applied Research and Enterprise (DARE) organises an annual Postgraduate Research Poster Competition for Master and Doctorate students. It offers the opportunity to the participants to develop the research skills and deep knowledge necessary to make a significant contribution to knowledge to their field of study and disseminate this knowledge to a wider audience. The Research Day Postgraduate Research Poster Competition (RD_PRPC) offers a unique forum for Bahrain Polytechnic postgraduate students (and just graduated) to present their original research before a panel of judges and attendees.
