Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Polytechnic, Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin, opened the Bahrain Polytechnic Annual Career Fair 2026, organised by the Career & Alumni Center on 27 and 28 September 2026, with the participation of more than 40 companies and organisations from various sectors.
Career Fair 2026 provided an important platform connecting Bahrain Polytechnic students, graduates and job seekers with employers, giving them the opportunity to explore available employment, training and career pathways across different sectors. The fair also enabled participants to engage directly with representatives of participating companies, submit their CVs and gain insights into the evolving requirements of the labour market.
The fair also provided participating companies and organisations with an opportunity to meet young national talent and gain insight into the skills of Bahrain Polytechnic students and graduates, while exploring their potential in line with labour market needs. This further strengthens collaboration between educational institutions and the public and private sectors.
On this occasion, Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Polytechnic, highlighted the importance of the Career Fair as a platform that connects Bahrain Polytechnic students and graduates with labour market needs, while providing them with a direct opportunity to engage with employers and explore available career and training opportunities.
Professor Ó Catháin noted that the fair reflects Bahrain Polytechnic’s commitment to preparing graduates with the practical and professional skills required by the labour market, while enhancing their readiness for career development and enabling them to keep pace with the rapid transformations taking place across various sectors.
He also commended the active participation of companies and organisations in this year’s fair, stressing that collaboration with industry is a key element of Bahrain Polytechnic’s applied learning approach and contributes to strengthening alignment between educational outcomes and labour market needs.
At the conclusion of the event, Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin toured the participating booths, where he explored the employment and training opportunities offered by participating companies and organisations and met with a number of their representatives, as well as Bahrain Polytechnic students and graduates attending the fair.
