Applicants should submit an online application during the announced period (click here to see the admission period timeline).
Before applying for admission, please read the following instructions and notes:
- Meet the entry requirements for Bahrain Polytechnic.
- Follow the steps in the “How to Apply Online to Bahrain Polytechnic” manual.
- Complete the online admission application within the admission period. Late applications will NOT be accepted.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Make sure that all information entered is correct and the required documents are uploaded.
- Applicants must select from the academic programmes offered. For the Full-Time programme, applicants are required to select six programmes and prioritize them in order of preference. For all other programmes, applicants are required to select only one programme.
- Applicants with special needs must identify their condition as part of the online admission application.
- A student who has been excluded or dismissed from a programme at Bahrain Polytechnic due to Academic Standing is not eligible to re-apply to that same programme but may apply for a different programme.
- A student who is dismissed due to academic misconduct may be allowed to re-apply after the period of penalty is lifted.
- Each applicant is allowed to apply for admission to a specific programme (while paying the admission fee) only once during each admission application period.
- It is not allowed to use the online application account for more than one applicant.
- The applicant must pay the application fee. The amount is non-refundable and non-transferable, whether the applicant withdraws or is not accepted at the Polytechnic.
- By submitting the application, no changes between the programmes will be allowed, and the application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable to other programmes.
- After paying the admission fee, the applicant will receive an email confirming that their application has been received.
- The portfolio for applicants to the Visual Design, Interactive Design, Digital Filmmaking, and Arts in Creative Media and Design programmes must be submitted within the announced period (after submitting the online application and paying the fee) and must comply with all Portfolio Guidelines. Late submissions are not accepted.
- Bahrain Polytechnic has the right to accept or reject any applications.
- Bahrain Polytechnic reserves the right to amend the programme of study for any reason.
- The international applicant/student is responsible for complying with all conditions relating to the study visa or permit.
Full-Time and Part-Time Programmes:
- The applicant will be able to choose the entry test date after paying the application fees.
- After the applicant selected the entry test date, they will receive an email with more information regarding the entry test.
Master’s, Top-Up and Customized Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering programmes:
- The applicant must apply to a programme in a field related to their prior qualification.
- After the payment of the admission fee, the applicants will receive an email detailing the required documents that need to be submitted.
- Applicants should submit all the required documents within the specified period.
- Failure to submit the required documents within the specified period will lead to the cancellation of the application.

Upload the Portfolio
The portfolio for applicants to the Visual Design, Interactive Design, Digital Filmmaking, and Arts in Creative Media and Design programmes must be submitted within the announced period (after submitting the online application and paying the fee) and must comply with all Portfolio Guidelines. Late submissions are not accepted.
Important
• Scholarship students must apply for admission to Bahrain Polytechnic by submitting an online application during the announced period and by taking the required Entry Tests. However, acceptance is not guaranteed even with a scholarship award if the applicant does not meet all admission entry requirements.
