Computational Investigations on Neuro-degenerative disorders & Autism Detection

Served as PI in research projects funded by Government of India (2015-2018) and Sultanate of Oman (2021-2023). The project required devising novel computational methods using hybrid machine learning techniques to detect potential gene and protein mutants that contribute to early onset of neurodegeneration and autism. The subsequent project involved identifying, via automated machine learning methods, the most contributing factors that could lead to autism and potential markers for early detection of autism.
