The Innovation Centre at Bahrain Polytechnic successfully hosted Startup Demo Day 2026 on Monday, 8 June 2026, bringing together startups, student innovators, mentors, industry professionals, and ecosystem partners for an evening celebrating entrepreneurship and innovation.

The event marked the culmination of the Founders Launchpad Program, delivered in partnership with Spring Co, and the MVP Development Program delivered in collaboration with Raincode. Through both programs, 9 startups progressed from early-stage ideas into functional Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) supported by mentorship, validation activities, workshops, and technical development led by ICT student developers.

Dr. Philippe Pringuet, Dean of Research and Innovation at Bahrain Polytechnic, stated:
“The Demo Day reflects Bahrain Polytechnic’s commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, and applied learning. Through initiatives led by the Innovation Centre, we continue to empower students and founders to develop practical solutions, strengthen industry collaboration, and contribute to Bahrain’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem.”

The event featured startup booths, live solution demonstrations, and pitches, allowing attendees to engage directly with founders and explore innovative solutions across industries including MedTech, logistics, AI-powered solutions, mental wellness, and technology-driven business solutions.

The event also featured a judging panel comprising distinguished industry leaders and ecosystem experts from Bahrain’s entrepreneurship and business community, providing feedback and recognition to participating startups.

“The event highlights the power of collaboration between founders, students, mentors, and industry partners in transforming ideas into real solutions, reflecting the value of applied learning and innovation in action,” said Fatima Tammam, Head of the Innovation Centre at Bahrain Polytechnic.

“Demo Day is more than a celebration of achievements. It reflects the resilience, dedication, and perseverance required to transform an idea into a business. Through the Founders Launchpad Programme, entrepreneurs are supported in turning concepts into viable ventures, gaining the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to navigate the startup ecosystem. This milestone showcases the progress founders have made and their journey toward building sustainable businesses” said Zainab Khamis, Managing Director of Spring Co.

“Demo Day isn’t an ending; it’s a launchpad. What these students have built through our collaboration with Bahrain Polytechnic shows exactly where the future of technology in the region is headed: bold, locally grown, and world-class. We didn’t just want to teach skills; we wanted to help spark the next wave of builders who will define Bahrain’s tech sector. Today, we get to see that future walk through the door.” said Connor de Freene, Co-Founder, CTO & Managing Director of Raincode.

The Startup Demo Day reflects Bahrain Polytechnic’s continued commitment to applied learning, startupdevelopment, and strengthening Bahrain’s entrepreneurship ecosystem through practical industry collaboration and innovation-focused initiatives.

The Innovation Centre extended its appreciation to mentors, partners, judges, industry guests, faculty members, ICT student developers, and supporting teams whose contributions helped make the event a success.
