Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of Bahrain Polytechnic’s Board of Trustees, inaugurated the Polytechnic’s new branch on Dilmunia Island in Muharraq.
The campus, built in partnership with Naseej Company, follows the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to expand quality education across the Kingdom of Bahrain. Located in the Canal View project, it spans 955.4 square metres, accommodates about 500 students, and includes modern classrooms, computer labs, and staff offices overlooking the water canal.
Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin, CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic, said the branch supports the Polytechnic’s expansion strategy, offering specialised programmes to meet labour market needs.
