The Master of Science in Supply Chain Management programme at Bahrain Polytechnic has received academic accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), making it the first in Bahrain to hold this prestigious international recognition. This achievement reflects Bahrain Polytechnic’s commitment to delivering the highest standards of education and training in procurement and supply chain management, and reinforces its position as a regional leader in this vital sector.

This accreditation is the result of extensive efforts by the School of Logistics at Bahrain Polytechnic, which conducted a comprehensive and detailed analysis of the programme structure, aligning it with the skills, knowledge and competencies in CIPS Global Standards for Procurement and Supply . The Polytechnic also submitted a thorough self-assessment report, including curriculum plans, quality assurance processes, faculty qualifications, student support, and infrastructure and facilities, demonstrating full alignment with CIPS standards.

Commenting on the occasion, Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin, CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic, stated: “We are proud to be the first in Bahrain to receive the CIPS accreditation to one of our newly introduced Master’s of Science in Supply Chain Management programme.
