Issues of media representation: Social Media Privacy Uprising Concerns.
The Geography of the Research
The Research was conducted in Lebanon under the supervision of Dr. Imad Bashir, Associate Professor at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Information (2012-2014).
The Research aimed to illuminate the possible breaches of social media privacy policies and their impact on employment sectors in Lebanon.
The Research recommendations focused on developing related policies concerning the best interests of employees, who, as showcased in many case studies reflected in the research, experienced Job lost jeopardy that led to being fired because of what the employer considered a social media post on an employee’s account as a threat/problematic/does not adhere to the corporate image of the institution.

The Research was conducted in Bahrain, and co-authored by Dr. Abdulla Ebrahim Altaher, Assistant Professor at the College of Communication and Media Technologies at the Gulf University, and Dr. Elsir Ali Saad Mohamed, Assistant Professor at the College of Mass Communication, Umm Al Quwain University, UAE (2023-2024).
The Research aimed to identify the effectiveness of institutional communication in shaping the mental image of government services applying to the National Contact Center in the Kingdom of Bahrain, by
emphasizing the role of the National Communication Center in Bahrain in shaping the mental image through the institutional communication process.
Measuring the effectiveness of the communication process by the National Communication Center in Bahrain in shaping the mental image.
Studying the content of social media platforms affiliated with the National Communication Center in Bahrain and its suitability to form a mental image.
