Bahrain Polytechnic Pushes Entrepreneurship To Students

Bahrain Polytechnic hosted a two hour entrepreneurial advisory event on 17th September 2013 at the campus, where several of its industrial partners were invited to showcase their financial and advisory programmes to the Polytechnic students.

The government educational institution once again reiterates its main objective of building work-ready graduates by inviting four companies over to present their offers to help the potential entrepreneurs.

Fatima Wali, Bahraini Perspectives Programme Manager of Bahrain Polytechnic was among the management which was present during the event and she expressed her excitement is not only limited to the engagement of the top companies with the students.

“I’m excited to have seen the turnout of the event. Our students have come here to perhaps get helpful advice to market their entrepreneurial ideas.” she said.

“The Kingdom of Bahrain is going through some economic changes ever since the introduction of the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030; changes which we are adapting our educational programmes to follow.”

Accompanied by the Polytechnic’s Dean of Humanities, Dr. Sajida Tabbara and Acting Head of General Studies, Carolyn Doyle, the students were presented several schemes of funding and advisory support.

“The students were really involved during the session.” she continued. “Our continuous efforts to promote entrepreneurship will benefit not only the Polytechnic, but Bahrain as well.”

Acting CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic, Dr. Mohamed Al Aseeri thanked industrial partners Tamkeen, Bahrain Development Bank, Ebtikar and Tenmou for attending the session to build a better future for the people of Bahrain.
