Research

Areas of Research Interest

Her research activity is in topics related to Fluid Mechanics and mainly in Computational Fluids Dynamics (CFD). She has been working on Cartesian and Body Fitted Grid Generation techniques, methodologies of numerical analysis, mathematical modelling, numerical simulation and estimation of external and internal, linear, steady and unsteady flows solving incompressible Navier-Stokes equations for various industrial flows. Her research is not only limited to CFD as she has to obtain important research also in experimental study and optimization of insulation materials, experimental studies in flows applied in biomechanics as well as heat transfer issues through walls and effects, study and ways of effective installation-cost management in photovoltaic devices and systems and finally in teaching – learning methods, development of student’s surveys and computational simulation in education, with application in Engineering courses. Recently she is responsible for a research project at Bahrain Polytechnic in mathematical modelling and numerical estimation of flows in pipeline industrial systems and networks of Bahrain.
