To Be the First Logistics Hub in Middle East

NMCI (The National Maritime College of Ireland) visited Bahrain Polytechnic at their campus. Dr. Mohamed Al Aseeri, Acting CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic and other high officials met with Michael Delaney, Vice President of NMCI and important members of NMCI.

NMCI provides Academic & Professional Accreditation, Simulation courses, offsite and cadet training in Nautical Science and Marine and Plant Engineering.

With strong ties in the Middle East, NMCI trains the UAE Navy and Tawazun in Abu Dhabi. NMCI trains graduates to be work-ready similar to Bahrain Polytechnic’s Problem-Based Learning method.

Dr. Mohamed Al Aseeri, Acting CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic stated: “Bahrain has a big opportunity to be a hub for logistics and maritime in the Middle East.”

“Bahrain Polytechnic has the authority to issue certifications, a partnership with NMCI and establishing a CILT centre in the Kingdom will bring us one step closer toward the Bahrain 2030 vision.” concluded the Acting CEO.
