Dr. Rawiya AlMannai, Deputy CEO of Corporate Affairs at Bahrain Polytechnic, received a delegation of technical and vocational education officials from ministries of education and applied education institutions across the GCC countries. The visit was organized in coordination with Bahrain’s Ministry of Education.
Dr. AlMannai welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of Bahrain Polytechnic and its academic programs. She delivered a detailed presentation on the Polytechnic’s apprenticeship program, which combines practical training with academic disciplines to meet Bahrain’s labor market needs. She emphasized that the program is tailored to offer students high-quality vocational training, equipping them for seamless integration into the job market. The program spans various fields identified in consultation with industry stakeholders to address the current and future needs of the local labor market.
Dr. AlMannai also expressed Bahrain Polytechnic’s readiness to collaborate with Gulf educational institutions to contribute to national development efforts in the education sector.
The delegation praised Bahrain Polytechnic’s advanced educational initiatives, and highlighted the institution’s commitment to “education for all” and its focus on developing national human resources.
As part of their visit, the delegation toured Bahrain Polytechnic’s facilities, including laboratories and training centers, gaining insight into the institution’s capabilities and infrastructure.
