Dr Andrew Thomas, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at Bahrain Polytechnic, has been invited to Chair an Institutional Standards Assessment panel for the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority.
The Oman Academic Accreditation Authority regulates the quality of higher education in Oman to ensure the maintenance of a level that meets international standards, and to encourage higher education institutions to improve their internal quality.
The panel, made up of international and regional experts will visit Mazoon University College in Muscat, Oman to evaluate the institution’s effectiveness against a set of standards leading to a formal accreditation outcome.
The selection of Dr. Andrew reflects on the quality of Polytechnic staff and what they have achieved, not only locally, but regionally and internationally as well.
