Sh. Ali bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Deputy CEO: Resource & Information Affairs, inspected the main buildings and facilities of the Polytechnic to monitor their maintenance and development in preparation for the new academic year 2017-18.

During the inspection, Sh. Ali Al Khalifa visited some of the classrooms, where he was briefed on the equipment inside to ensure that it is fit for educational use. Additionally, more offices have been added for tutors.

One of the additions to the Polytechnic will be the development of parking spaces for the student council, in recognition of their great efforts to serve the students and Bahrain Polytechnic as a whole.

The Deputy CEO commented: “These developments are ongoing and will not stop. We are also looking to maintain several other areas of the Polytechnic, such as our ICT infrastructure by enhancing our network capacity to accommodate the growing numbers of students and staff, as well as updating all computers with the latest software for work and educational use.”

Sh. Ali Al Khalifa stressed the keenness of the executive management of the Polytechnic to provide a suitable learning environment for students and tutors. He also stressed that the Polytechnic is continuously upgrading its facilities to be in line with the requirements of the various academic programmes it offers and to meet the basic needs of all its employees.

He added that this also comes in line with its keenness to review the Polytechnic’s internal procedures based on circulars issued by various governmental bodies, and in accordance with the regulations adopted by the Board of Trustees.
