In preparation for the second semester of the Academic Year 2014-2015, Bahrain Polytechnic hosted an all staff briefing session at the campus on 18th February 2015 to update all academic and allied staff on every department’s plan for the year.
The two hour session consisted of managers and directors of various departments within the Polytechnic to present their key achievements over the past year, including next year’s plans and how it would contribute to the government action plan 2015-2018 and Bahrain’s 2030 Vision.
The preparations also included maintenance of a number of Polytechnic buildings in the campus, ensuring a more suitable environment for the students.
Manager: Project and Maintenance, Hussain Alhamar, stated: “We have made some changes during the students’ break, including maintenance of current and upcoming buildings. We are nearly finished with the our new hall which is set to accommodate more than 700 people on an area of 1500 square meters, meeting the standards of high level events.”
Acting CEO Dr. Mohamed Al Aseeri wished the students a success in their studies, adhering to the regulatory and academic regulations, especially the obligation to wear an ID card to ensure a healthy flow of traffic and avoid congestion by the gate. He also informed the students to visit the Polytechnic website to find out all the important dates required throughout their semesters.
