Bahrain Polytechnic will host the annual Marketing Day on Thursday the 25th of May 2023 from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM at the Wadi Alsail Mall. The exhibition will give students an opportunity to exhibit their business projects, which is a requirement for the Marketing Program at the Polytechnic.
More than 350 first, second- and third-year students are participating in this year’s exhibition, in addition to many graduates, exhibiting more than 60 commercial enterprises that represent more than 70 distinguished brands.
The CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic, Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin, stated on this occasion: “Ever since our establishment, we always believe that the Polytechnic’s educational system will prepare our students to work in the business world. These exhibitions are a stimulating step that gives our students practical knowledge to build and manage projects, which falls under our Strategic Plan 2023-2026, and to provide the labor market with entrepreneurs who can contribute to the development of Bahrain’s 2030 Vision.”
Programme Manager, Mr. Amir Zaidan, said: “The Marketing Day is one of the fundamental pillars of the Polytechnic’s teaching methods, which not only trains students to meet the demands of the labor market but also prepare them to be successful entrepreneurs by providing them with different skills.”
He continued: “We are delighted to see our students working hard to apply what they have learned in class in their own projects, and demonstrate their understanding of the Polytechnic’s teaching methods, most notably our problem-based and project-based learning approach that will help our students to become business leaders.”
Mr. Zaidan explained: “The idea of the exhibition is for students to follow the steps of developing their business ideas which we teach them at the start of each semester. This includes the preparation and implementation of a business and marketing plan and several other tasks that eventually lead to the final business idea which is expected to meet a customer’s expectations.
