Registration deadline for Khalid bin Hamad Competition for Innovation in Artificial Intelligence is on Friday

Registration for the third edition of the Khalid bin Hamad Competition for Innovation in Artificial Intelligence, to be organized by Bahrain Polytechnic in cooperation with the media office of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, will be closed on February 5.

The Hackfest competition tests the teams’ ability to create innovative projects that use one or more Microsoft Azure features for Artificial Intelligence.

The competition includes one track for high school students and one track for university students.

Under the rules, each team must have a maximum of four members, with a minimum of two students and a maximum of two professionals in the field to assist and support the team.

In the high school track, students above the age of 18 are considered professionals  while in the university track, participants above the age of 25 are considered professionals.

Teams have five weeks to complete their project and to present it to an evaluation panel consisting of experts in the field of AI.
