Bahrain Polytechnic, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Traffic, hosted the “Traffic Safety Campaign” on March 24th 2015 on campus at the Bahrain Hall; highlighting the new traffic laws implemented at the Kingdom and the Polytechnic.
The agenda included a traffic awareness exhibition, where representatives from the General Directorate of Traffic explained the important traffic laws, including a car show displaying the various vehicles they use. This was followed by an informative session of the security laws applied within the Polytechnic and an FAQ session.

Dr. Mohamed Al Aseeri, Acting CEO, stated: “Their [the Directorate] aim is to ensure everyone’s safety while driving in Bahrain, and we want to follow this up by implementing similar laws while driving within the Polytechnic campus, thanks to the assistance of our Health & Safety department.”

Sheikh Ali Bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Deputy CEO: Resources & Information Affairs awarded the representatives from the Traffic Directorate for their time and said: “This workshop aims to educate students and staff of the importance of following safety procedures on the road through the implementation of traffic laws internally.
“I would like to thank the General Directorate of Traffic for their cooperation and support for making this workshop happen.” concluded Sh. Ali Al Khalifa.
