Bahrain Polytechnic, in cooperation with the eGovernment Authority, launched the online payment service which allows the student to transact payments or any other related fee through its ‘Self-Service Banner’.
The initiative, being the first of its kind in a higher education institution in the Kingdom of Bahrain, allows the student the possibility of finalizing all registration procedures and electronic payment of fees using a unified platform.
The ‘Self-Service Banner’ already provides a number of services, such as registering for courses and accessing transcripts.
Acting CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic, Dr. Mohamed Al Aseeri, praised the role of the eGovernment Authority in developing this new service and commented: “They [eGovernment Authority] have spared no effort in developing the e-services in the Kingdom of Bahrain and for the development of this successful project with the help of our stakeholders.
“Students can use this new and time-efficient system to deal with their financial and registration affairs online.
“We want to continue producing new ideas at Bahrain Polytechnic, especially as these ideas would be in line with Bahrain’s 2030 Vision and the governments work plan 2015-2018.” concluded Dr. Al Aseeri.
Students can access the online payment service either through Bahrain Polytechnic’s website or the eGovernment portal at bahrain.bh.
